The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~ It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
So I think I’m kinda over my reading slump! I finally finished Kiss of Deception and posted the review! (see below) and I ended up powering through Just Like the Movies and moved right into Magnolia soon after, haha! Also, this weekend my family’s doing a small road trip to Edmonton, so that means lots of reading time. I’m hoping to read Landline and not spend too much money shopping, haha.

Stacking the Shelves post! Hosted by Tynga’s Reviews, Stacking the Shelves is a chance to showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.
Just one for review and picked up a few for reading/book club.
Illusive by Emily Lloyd-Jones
So picked up Illusive, because I’ve definitely been waiting for this guy for a while (I can’t believe it’s already this late in July…I didn’t think it was ever going to come)! If you’ve forgotten what this is about all you really need to know is: X-Men meets Ocean’s Eleven. But seriously, it sounds awesome, the main character is an illusionist and a thief!
Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde
…no 50 involved lol. So yes, this is the next book for my book club. It’s been said that it’s: Part social satire, part romance, part revolutionary thriller, so I’m definitely intrigued! I love the dystopia/ caste system is based around colour. I also love the cover.
What a Duke Dares by Anna Campbell
Thanks Forever for the eARC! So excited for the last (?) book in her Sons of Sin series! I really enjoyed the first two, Seven Nights in a Rogue’s Bed (my review) & A Rake’s Midnight Kiss (my review) and I’ve definitely been waiting for Cam’s story! I love that it’s sort of a childhood sweetheart kinda romance.
